Arden Street

One of Earlsdon's original streets

Arden Street is one of the original Earlsdon streets laid out in the middle of the nineteenth century. One of the first terraces of workmen's cottages built in Earlsdon can be seen to the immediate left in the historic photograph — a row of 13 houses that occupied the space where the new flats are today, just before Warwick Street. Most of the other housing dates from the Edwardian period.

The second view is taken looking north towards what is now Hartington Crescent.
