Berkeley Road South (formerly Cromwell Street)
Little has changed in this street view between 1915 and now. There is a lack of parked cars but instead we see children playing in the road. The other obvious difference is the lack of iron railings today, removed as part of the war effort during the Second World War. If anyone knows why Cromwell Street was renamed Berkeley Road South we would like to know. |
