Like its twin Mickleton Road, the residents of Huntingdon Road have benefited from the bends in old Earlsdon Lane. They have been echoed by the developers in the shape of these parallel roads, creating a much more interesting street aspect. Building work continues on some of the recently constructed houses in the 1911 photograph, as can be seen from the scaffolding on the house at the Belvedere Road end, as well as the pile of bricks in the foreground.
