This view of Mickleton Road shows the deceptively uniform fronts of the recently constructed terraced housing. On closer inspection, like most Earlsdon terraces they are made up of blocks of slightly different designs. The developer would have put in the roads and services and then sold sections of the frontage to different builders — the broad specification such as the line of frontage would be the same, but details would be left to the individual builders.
