Warwick Avenue
Warwick Avenue like its twin Styvechale Avenue was set out on a scale to upstage the rest of Earlsdon; no terraced housing here. The plots were developed more slowly than elsewhere but the wealth of the early residents can be gauged, if not from the size of the houses, then from the fact that many were built to accomodate cars. These were some of the first houses to have ‘motor homes’ as part of their original design.
